<li><span itemprop="ingredients">1/2 cup sliced onions</span></li>
<li><span itemprop="ingredients">1/2 cup sliced bell peppers</span></li>
<li><span itemprop="ingredients">2 cloves garlic, minced</span></li>
<li><span itemprop="ingredients">1 tablespoon olive oil</span></li>
<li><span itemprop="ingredients">Salt and pepper to taste</span></li>
<li><span itemprop="ingredients">Crushed red pepper flakes optional</span></li>

<h3>Instructions:</h3>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Preheat oven to 375F 190C</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add garlic, onions, and bell peppers</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Saut until softened, about 5 minutes</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Season with salt, pepper, and optional crushed red pepper flakes</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add Italian sausages to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Place them on a baking sheet lined with foil</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Spread marinara sauce inside each hoagie roll, then place a cooked sausage inside each roll</span></p>
<p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Top each sausage with sauted onions, bell peppers, and garlic mixture</span></p>
